The mission of the Northampton Girls Softball Association is to provide opportunities for girls ages 5 – 18 to learn and play softball. Girls do not need to be a resident of Northampton Township to participate.

As part of that mission, NGSA provides the following programs:

T-ball Academy and 8U In House Program: NGSA provides quality skills instruction for our youngest players. The teeball players have the opportunity to use the Miracle League field located at the Northampton Township Park. The 8U players practice at our fields located at Churchville Elementary School and continue to learn and develop basic softball skill throughout the season. The 8U players have the opportunity to showcase their skills at games against the other 8U teams.

10U-18U Inter-league Program: Players in our inter-league program play games against neighboring townships. The inter-league program focuses on skill development, knowledge of the game, sportsmanship, physical exercise, having fun, character development and being a member of a team. There are Mid-Season and End-of-Season tournaments, with NGSA hosting the 14U/18U tournaments. For 12U and up, evaluations will be used to place girls on teams.

10U-14U Select Program: Tryouts for the select program are held in late July/early August. Select players practice in the fall, throughout the winter and participate in the Suburban League from approximately March until June. Select players are required to participate in the 10U-18U Inter-league Program but also play in tournaments. There are additional fees for Select players on top of the Inter-League registration fees, determined by each team for uniforms, winter workouts, etc.

Revolution Fastpitch
Travel Team Program: NGSA currently fields travel teams at the 12U thru 18u age groups that operate under the name Revolution Fastpitch. Tryouts for travel teams are held in late July/early August. Travel players are expected to commit themselves to a fall season, winter workouts and the spring/summer season. Fees for the travel program are established by each travel team and depend on various factors including number of tournaments played, winter workout fees, uniforms, etc.

If you are interested in starting a Revolution Select or Travel Team, please contact Larry Patricelli, NGSA President.
